We’ve all had people in our lives who struggled to us good feedback; the kind that inspires and encourages us to do more, or be better.
The honest truth is that we never really hear about learning how to TAKE feedback. Let’s face it, the messenger will not always be smooth and effective. Therefore, the way we receive feedback can often be more vital to our business success than the way we give feedback.
Learning to properly receive feedback can add value and teach us better ways to give feedback if we have responsibility for a team.
My guest is Glade Holman. He has spent much of his career learning from and coaching leaders on ways to be better givers of feedback as well as better receivers of it.
